Reliable Reasons To Rejoice

RELIABLE REASONS TO REJOICE

Here's a 5-day Bible reading plan and devotional guide based Pastor Kiley's message Sunday.  This plan encourages deep reflection on core themes of faith, hope, and God's power, while prompting personal application and spiritual growth.

Day 1: Chosen for a Purpose: Read 1 Peter 1:1-5
As pilgrims in this world, we're called to remember our true citizenship is in heaven. God has chosen us with purpose and foresight. Reflect on how this divine selection impacts your daily life. How does knowing you're "elect according to the foreknowledge of God" change your perspective on challenges? Consider ways to live out your calling as God's chosen ambassador in your current circumstances.

Day 2: Living Hope in Trials: Read 1 Peter 1:6-9
Our faith is refined through trials, becoming more precious than gold. How have difficult times strengthened your faith? Remember that joy can coexist with hardship when we focus on our living hope in Christ. Pray for the ability to rejoice even in challenging seasons, knowing that your tested faith results in "praise, glory, and honor" to God.

Day 3: The Power of New Birth: Read John 3:1-8
Being born again is the key to experiencing true hope and transformation. Reflect on your own journey of spiritual rebirth. How has your life changed since accepting Christ? If you haven't experienced this new birth, consider what's holding you back. Pray for a deepened understanding of what it means to be "born of the Spirit" and how this impacts every aspect of your life.

Day 4: Unshakeable Promises: Read 2 Peter 1:3-4
God's promises are our anchor in turbulent times. Which of God's promises do you need to cling to today? Take time to write down specific promises from Scripture that speak to your current situation. How can you shift your focus from your problems to God's promises? Ask for faith to trust in His unfailing word, even when circumstances seem contrary.

Day 5: Guarded by God's Power: Read Jude 1:24-25
God's power not only saves us but also keeps us. Reflect on times when you've experienced God's preserving grace. How does knowing that God is able to keep you from stumbling impact your approach to temptation and challenges? Pray for a greater awareness of His sustaining power in your daily life, and ask for the strength to cooperate with His work in keeping you steadfast in faith.
