Northfield Kids

Northfield's Kid's Ministry was designed with your child in mind. The Family Center is our environment for children birth to 5th grade.

We love kids and do our best to help your children have a blast learning about Jesus! Each age group has specifically designed environments that are safe, fun, and interactive. NFC Kids is committed to partnering with parents to raise the next generation to know and love God!

Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade who attend NFC Kids’ weekend services have a blast learning God’s Word and making amazing friendships.

All of our volunteers have to pass a certified background check before teaching and working with the children. We support and grow our volunteers to lead with love at Northfield Church.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How to know my kid is safe?

YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY IS OUR HIGHEST PRIORITY!

We have a secure check-in and check-out system to help ensure their safety.   For the safety of your children and to provide the best environment, only the children and approved personnel are permitted in the NFC Family Center.

  • How old do my children have to be?

We have dedicated spaces for infants through 5th grade. If your child is under the age of 2 years, they will be loved in our nursery. If your child is 2-3 years old and up and has not started kindergarten, they will love our toddler room. If your child is 4-6 years old, they will be in our preschool room.  And if your child is in 1st through 5th grade, they will have a blast in our elemenatry room.

  • What to expect?

We encourage adults to participate in service while their children attend NFC Kids. The children who attend from birth through 5th grade are cared for by trained team members while adults hear God’s story.

  • How do I check in my chid?

Upon arrival, speak with our Kids Check In team. They will help you enter your information and securely check in your child. You will receive a tag that must be presented to the kids team when picking up your child.

  • Do you follow a well policy?

Yes!  For the well being of your child and the other children, parents are encouraged to not bring a child who appears to be ill. Some signs to look for are: secretion from the nose, fever within 24 hours, vomiting/diarrhea, common cold, sore throat, croup, any rash/skin infections, pink eye, or impetigo.
